LA Greens Meeting Jan 21

The next Los Angeles Greens meeting will be held on Wednesday, January 21.

At the meeting we'll review our 2008 goals and 2009 agenda/goal setting. We'll also hear about LA Green Alex Walker's special election campaign for state senate.

LA Greens will also be holding elections for four of our internal offices: Female and Male Co-Facilitator (they run our meetings), Treasurer and Secretary.

Bring some snacks and drinks to share if you'd like.

LA Green Alex Walker running for State Senate

Our LA Greens' member, Alex Walker, is running for State Senate in a special election. The primary will be held March 24!

The Special Primary Election on March 24, 2009 is being held for the purpose of electing party candidates for the Special Runoff Election on May 19, 2009 which will be held to fill a vacancy for the unexpired term ending December 1, 2010, in the 26th State Senate District resulting from the resignation of office by Mark Ridley-Thomas.
