Los Angeles Greens Party for Peace
On August 19, 2006, the Los Angeles Greens hosted a fun(d)raiser at The Heather condo complex in Culver City. It was possibly the world's first four-way candidate meet-and-greet to feature ping-pong, face-painting, dancing, a yoga class, a pot-luck meal, a benefit drawing, and a playground for kids. We also enjoyed music by Maria Armoudian, comedy by Derek Iversen, and the funky-groove spinning of Starskee Suave and DJ Jon Hershfield.
Thanks to every one who came to the party, and everyone who helped make it possible, including numerous volunteers, The Heather, and the contributors listed at the bottom of this page. You rock!
